Senior Services Solutions Principal

Help Dell Technologies customise solutions for our customers with a role on our Solutions Principal (SP) team. On this team, you’ll guide the analysis, design and development of services solutions for customers, provide technical support and direction to sales teams in the field and assure the compatibility of these solutions with customer systems and strategic business plans.

What you’ll achieve:

The SP defines the overall Dell services solution for the customer and makes presentations on all aspects of company services. Assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company services to meet customer needs. Conduct customer needs analysis. Provide project scoping. Coordinate internal specialists and inter-departmental activities. Assist sellers in creating demand.

You Will:

  • Gain access and manage relationships with executive-level technical staff and decision makers. May devise new approaches/methods to selling datacentre services. Verify interoperability of services configurations within the customer’s environment. Verify roles and responsibilities required to support account team. Understand market and industry data to provide thought leadership to position value of the services solution.

  • Provide counsel across account teams in analysing customer requirements and developing services content. Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding. Presents the design and value of proposed services solution to customers, prospects and management at a senior, sometimes executive level.

  • Be recognised internally and externally as a thought leader on the industry and our competitors.

  • Be regularly engaged at with the customer to deliver high-impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in a senior level services presales capacity, with a strong understanding of Dell Technologies’ products and services portfolio – with particular focus on Data Centre Transformation.

  • Used to working with customers to devise new and innovative services solutions to business challenges.

  • Requires technical competency to respond to customer needs and to discuss services capabilities with technical users/buyers.
