What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be part of Dell’s G lobal e -commerce e X perience team and:
You will build Dell’s cutting-edge e-commerce platform — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and in collaboration with internal and external partners.
You will own one or more products on that platform, from ideation to operation.
To be successful, you will apply the strong technical and analytical skills, that you already have and continue to develop.
You should also be ready to take up a mentor role or lead the team and drive the team’s strategy and define the success parameters for the team members and Dells business.
All of this will provide with opportunities to demonstrate your strengths and further grow as an engineer and a person.

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
Experience in building micro services in .NET core on Tanzu or other cloud platforms.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra; and message queues RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Experience of Software version Control with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Unit Testing (NUnit, XUnit, MS Tests or similar Testing Framework), Automated Testing using Selenium or similar.
In depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Principles and Design Patterns
Ability to work with both remote and co-located team members
·8-12+ years of total software/IT engineering/code development experience. Out of this at least 8+ in the relevant technologies
·Demonstrate depth and breadth in previous roles. Be able to gain trust & respect of engineering, dependent teams and stakeholders
·Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; work with minimal supervision while delivering on action items in a timely fashion
·Exposure to health monitoring tools such as NewRelic, Splunk. Kibana, Jaeger, Promotheus…
Exposure to large e-commerce platform
A Master’s degree/ bachelor’s degree in computer science, BIS, Software Engineering, or another related field
