Senior Advisior – Data Intelligence Engineer

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Advisor – Data Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and applying a broad range of techniques and theories from to deliver actionable business insights to prospects and customers based on large-scale data. You should be able to works under little to no supervision with internal and external teams to understand customer requirements. You shall be able to lead and perform end-to-end steps involved in model development, while establishing subject-matter expertise in key horizontal or vertical themes. You will work with Finance – Accounting and Revenue Customers on the high impact ISG program.

You will:

  • Execute preliminary data exploration, data preparation steps and variable/algorithm selection as well as model development/validation and scoring.

  • Deliver results and presentations in a timely manner.

  • Generate new product requirements for the engineering group to enhance the analytics capabilities of the big data platform, in alignment with emerging subject-matter expertise.

  • Serve as spokesperson on specialized projects and act as prime consultant on large projects and may be an informal team leader.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Computer Applications with a minimum Development hands-on experience of 8-10 years

  • Strong experience with developing and implementing data standards, guaranteeing metadata is captured correctly, and creating methods for monitoring and reporting any data incidents.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to discuss and defend Architectural decisions with team of strong technical architects

  • Experience working with Big Data

  • Excellent database modeling principles

  • Strong Informatica, MDM, SQL

  • Understand DEV and Test process E2E

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills is a must have

  • Experience in working in Agile (SCRUM) Methodology

Desirable Requirements

  • Provide leadership in delivering an Information Architecture standard/canonical model

  • Partner to educate the eco-system stakeholders on proper use of data which may include end-use agreements, education forums, and certified applications to use the experience working in a highly complex integrated data environment
