What you’ll achieve
As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
Gathers business requirements and participates in product definition and feature prioritization, including customer usability studies.
Prepares, reviews and analyzes software specifications for business requirements
Contributes to the design and architecture of high-quality software
Develops and produces concept prototypes
Provides design, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment and top-level support ownership of product technologies. Identifies design requirements and makes recommendations for capacity planning, performance optimization.
Leads in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, re-engineering and maintenance of software products.
Responsible for the delivery of products within budget, schedule and quality guidelines.
Works with the team to develop, maintain, and communicate current development schedules, timelines and development status.
Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment and be organized, have an eye for detail
Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems
Able to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable and complex programs, using either written or verbal design specifications
Strong C++, C#, .NET coding skills, with emphasis on writing scalable code
Strong Object Oriented design & programming experience
Must have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills Ability to write and analyze requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, and documentation.
Sound knowledge of microservices with .NET & architecture.
In-depth understanding in the usage of the Jira, Git/Bitbucket,
Experience implementing test-driven development and hands on with unit test cases
Strong understanding of architecture and software design patterns.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL, TSQL, MongoDB etc.
Exposure to frameworks and patterns such as MVC/MVVM/MVP, Data Warehousing, WCF, WPF, Service Bus, MSMQ, Python, PowerShell is a plus
Cultivates, develops and manages strong relationship with team members.
Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus
Should possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
8+ years of related experience in a professional role with Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a Masters degree or 3+ years with a PhD or equivalent experience.
