Senor Sales Manager, Data Center & Solutions

Our field sales professionals rely on proactive technical support during the sales process – and our expert Systems Engineering team always steps up to the mark. We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installations or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key Deal Management

. Deal Validation – Project Milestone, Budget, Decision Maker

. BMT/POC – Resource, Configuration

. Proposal – Cost Optimization, Win price analysis, Making fund, Value Proposition development

. RTM development

  • Big Deal Development

. Target Segment/Customer Selection

. Drive Key Initiate with SC/AE – SC visit, Value Delivery

. Dell Day

  • Channel Enablement

. Key Tier 1 Partner Development for Key deal

. Server SE enablement on Tier 1 Partner

. Server Distributor Enablement

. 2’nd Tier Development

  • Key DMU Coverage

. IT Infrastructure Leader

. Sales/Technical leader of Key Tier 1 partner

. Sales/Technical leader from Key SI

Essential Requirements

  • Typically 20+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience ꞏ

  • Typically requires managerial/leadership experience

  • Excellent ability to apply advanced concepts in the technical engineering field to practical business problems

  • Advanced ability to communicate technical concepts, architectures and designs, program strategies, and tactics clearly

  • Advanced negotiation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial program commitments and expectations with customers

  • Advanced presentation skills

  • Advanced level of solutions and technical knowledge of Dell Technologies Products, Solutions and Services

  • Strong understanding of customer/industry climate

  • Strong level of solutions and technical knowledge

  • Ability to navigate across the functional areas of a service level to drive business process improvements across multiple accounts driving the strategy
