What you’ll achieve

The Cloud Identity Engineer will be adaptable and fast-moving, with the ability to independently lead projects, solve complex problems, and provide innovative ideas to propel the service area and products supported forward.

You will:

  • Build and design corporate Identity and Access Management solutions for both on premise and SaaS security solutions relative to privileged identity management strategy and compliance requirements

  • Be the privileged access subject matter expert on the technical solution implementation details for cloud security capabilities that co-exist with on-prem dependencies

  • Create and maintain capability & service documentation

  • Create and manage the automation of security orchestration information between systems through REST APIs and serverless cloud capabilities

  • Partner with Security Architecture, Cloud Transformation Office & IT for build and operations requirements and implementation of security capabilities

  • Design operational processes to maximize security effectiveness of deployed solutions and validation of control effectiveness

  • Provide Tier 3 escalation and troubleshooting support for Account Management Operations staff

  • Create metrics, measurements, and tools to drive operational improvements

  • Assist with the creation of security capability maturity roadmap and execution planning

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years technical Security subject matter expertise in multiple area such as Network Security, Endpoint Security, Identity & Access Management, Secure Software Development Practices, Cloud Security, Encryption

  • Strong security expertise in various Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as AWS, Azure, GCP with demonstrable examples of security automation capabilities, configuration as code standards and secure process implementations

  • Experience deploying infrastructure, applications and services to both virtualized platforms such as VMware and various Cloud Service Providers

  • Experience maintaining and deploying capabilities via container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker

  • Strong expertise in secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and DevSecOps practices

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Security or related major

  • Advanced understanding of technology and cybersecurity key concepts

  • Advanced communication and presentation skills working with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

  • Ability to lead, influence, motivate and direct a workgroup to achieve results

  • Ability to prioritize projects and/or deliverables
