What you’ll achieve

The Digital Forensic Investigator , eDiscovery and Investigations will bea subject matter expertin digital forensic investigations.TheSecurity Consultantwill participate in all stages of an investigationthroughplanning, collection, analysis, and reporting. The Security Consultantcompletes documentation and procedures for testing, installation, maintenance, and training of forensic software and infrastructure.

You will:

  • Participate in designing, testing and deployment of new forensic or eDiscovery tools or solutions

  • Assist with investigations, from corporate legal, ethics, security, and IT teams

  • Assist with multiple investigation requests through the entire lifecycle of Initiation, Data Collection, Analysis, and Data Production

  • Participate on Incident Response teams as forensic SME

  • Assist with the design, implementation and maintenance of a forensic lab network infrastructure

  • Work with vendors for problem resolution

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and standardize process and procedures and provide continual improvement

Essential Requirements

  • Understanding of advanced concepts of investigations, evidence handling, and computer forensics

  • Experience with one or more major computer forensic and eDiscovery products in an enterprise environment (such as EnCase, FTK,CyFIR, etc.)

  • Experience with SQL based database platforms

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a similarly relevant field, oreightor more years of computer forensic and incident response work experience

  • Good written and oral communication skills and ability to work well independently and with others as part of larger team and be able to collaborate on cross functional teams

  • Knowledge of how-to build and deploy Windows images; knowledge of Dell desktop hardware and advanced knowledge of cell phone forensics

  • Solid understanding of incident management procedures and knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and SCCM

  • Solid understandingof Windows Events and event correlation

  • Advanced scripting skills to create and support ad-hoc tools

  • Thorough knowledge of networking technologies

  • Advanced knowledge of Azure O365, OneDrive for Business, and Exchange Online

  • Experience and/or knowledge of ANAB/ASCLD Lab accreditation and procedures
