IT Service Operations Senior Advisor
The IT Service Operations team provides expertise to ensure holistic support, proactive monitoring, and overall health of IT applications, IT tools, infrastructure (hardware, data, software), security, information access, system performance and data integrity. Utilizes appropriate IT tools to resolve issues within global, complex technical, business- and mission-critical environments. Is deemed a subject-matter expert in more than one technical discipline. Recognizes recurring problems and proactively works cross-functionally and inter-departmentally throughout the organization to recommend solutions and process improvements. Works with other IT groups, vendors, and business units to lead, monitor and resolve system outages.

What you’ll achieve
As an IT Service Operations Senior Advisor , you will monitors and measures performance characteristics of applications.
Be part of the team accountable for the health of our Next Gen Managed Services environment, through monitoring, incident management, and security analysis.
Work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment with cross-functional teams and business groups and investigate service interruptions, determine and implement service resolution to ensure future stability of infrastructure while maintaining data integrity.
Administer the Ansible AWX and Terraform platforms to ensure the product is used by our customers correctly and efficiently, educating and advising on their use through 1x1 and team training sessions.
Support development efforts with functional testing of features before deployment
Develop tools and methodologies to identify reliability and security risks, monitor application capacity, determine and implement monitoring of platform and business KPI’s, and triage production issues for globally available application suite.
Provide feedback to product and development teams for service stability and reliability features and manage the Ansible AWX and Terraform platform including patches and upgrades as necessary.

Ability to effectively interpret business issues and needs at a leadership level and how technology supports those requirements and effectively communicate technology issues, root cause analysis and solution options to business leadership.
Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of Modern IT principles and practices including CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing and Site Reliability Engineering methodologies.
Understanding of Automate testing processes/tools and understanding security methods involving Firewalls, TLS, certificates, RBAC authentication, password vaults.
Experience with microservice architectures utilizing CI/CD pipelines via Gitlab into a Kubernetes, Docker containerized environment.
Strong programming and scripting skills utilizing languages such as Python, Java and/or .NET. As well as utilizing IaaC automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible playbooks
• 10+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computing engineering or computer science
