Sales Planning & Strategy Consultant

Principal Responsibilities

  • IOP Development/Planning & Cascade- Sales & BU interlock to define drivers, establish KPI’s and measure performance. Operationalized across Managed Territories.

  • Business insights & analytics- Leverage various reporting capabilities to inspect and manage business.

  • Territory Optimization- Design well informed territories by balancing sales potential against seller capacity to help ensure appropriate coverage and seller opportunity. Adjust as needed to reflect market conditions and territory penetration.

  • Sales Coverage Strategy- Optimize to ensure effective GTM strategy & coverage by segment & BU.

  • COC-IOP & Sales Comp

  • Regional GBO Business Partners

What you’ll achieve

As a Sales Planning and Strategy Consultant, you will drive key sales strategic initiatives while identifying and evaluating sales growth opportunities. This is a key role that will influence sales behavior and capabilities.

You will:

• Use sales measurement models and diagnostic tools to help identify sales performance indicators, key areas of opportunity and sales force training needs

• Develop, design, and monitor operational sales tools, tasks and programs

• Coordinate communication and disseminate information to sales force

• Guide process improvement programs

• Evaluate and recommend strategic priorities, sales force performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods

  • Financial and analytical experience

  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate cross functionally, leverage partnerships to drive execution

Essential Requirements

• 5–10 years of related experience

• Advanced understanding of sales processes

• Strong project management skills

• In-depth understanding of internal and external factors that affect company functions

• Understanding of key sales and management reporting tools

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
