Our Import/Export team within Dell Technologies’ Supply Chain provides Trade Compliance support for end-to-end order management and delivery processes. We’re experts in what we do, from assessing Global Trade risk and providing mitigation strategies, to delivering strategic and tactical support in developing international supply chains, to implementing strategies to reduce import expenses and auditing all documentation.

What you’ll achieve

This exciting opportunity is focused on supporting our North America Trade Operations, which includes US and Canada Import/Export activities, Foreign Trade, and global support of Dangerous Goods. The primary function will be addressing inquiries in a mailbox, but also support the business and programs as needed in relation to Trade Compliance. This is a great opportunity for someone to learn and grow in our Trade organization, while taking on challenging tasks and projects.

As an Analyst , you will be responsible for managing day to day activities and inquiries. You will work with our Global Logistics, Fulfillment, and Trade teams, and all the teams internally and externally that we interface with on operations, projects, and meeting regulatory and compliance standards.

You will:

  • Manage the daily inquiries and questions from internal and external customers and partners to support the US Import activities.

  • Assist the North America Advisors with data analytics, project testing, and special assignments

  • Learn and support Foreign Trade as it relates to Master Data Management through SAP, Agile, and Global Trade Management (Oracle based application)

  • Analysis issues and errors with US Brokers and IT to get to the root cause

Here’s what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 3 years of experience with import/export, supply chain, or related field

  • Proficient with SAP and Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • Good written and communication skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Project management experience

  • Data analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, specifically SharePoint, Access, and Power BI
