It’s hard to put a price on driving human progress, but when you’re operating in a competitive business environment, you need innovative pricing strategies. Our Pricing team within Sales Operations is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating these strategies. We conduct research and competitive pricing analysis and monitor the ongoing business environment to ensure Dell maintains a competitive market position.
As a TLA Pricing Advisor, you will be responsible for working with our TLA Operations Leads and field teams to develop custom projected spend and pricing floors that meet our customer’s needs.
Projected Spend – Act as Americas lead on creating projected spends using data from Asset Reporting Services and the sales team. This projected spend represents the customer’s business as usual spending projection over the next 3-5 years based on their historical behavior and their growth projections.
Pricing – As needed, provide pricing creation support for divisionally aligned pricing analysts. This pricing represents a discount over their BAU projected spend, while still providing more growth and commitment than a potential BAU purchase.
Booking – As needed assist with quote population and management of the booking process for TLAs.
Special Projects – Assist in projects to enhance TLA Program tools and process flows, particularly relating to the Projected Spend Analysis Tool.
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience, or equivalent experience
Moderate to advanced excel skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to understand complex sales scenarios and model projections accordingly
Ability to coordinate and communicate complex ideas simply
