Director - Financial Analysis

Global Operations (GO) Finance leader responsible for financial controllership of market commodities, structural commodities and working capital globally.

The role will report to the VP-Finance of Procurement and work directly with multiple VPs and Sr VPs of Procurement. The role will manage a team of 10 direct reports globally.

It is crucial for the finance leader to drive business performance and enhance operational effectiveness through insightful analysis, influence on strategic direction and execution. The main responsibilities also include providing robust financial evaluation and enabling decision making on initiatives and investments, and ultimately helping the company to maximize productivity and improve company performance.

The individual will play a key role in the communication and interaction with Corporate and Business Units around cost trends and quarterly procurement performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead team of commodity controllers responsible for…

  • Setting of accurate costs

  • Managing global rebate programs

  • Forecasting and outlooking cost variances

  • Partner with procurement leaders on programs to improve cost accuracy and programs to optimize the Company’s cost profile.

  • Partner with global pricing, finance and fp&a teams globally to ensure timely and accurate communication of cost movements

  • Partner with Treasury and procurement leadership to optimize DPO for the Company

  • Support business to assess business case/corporate initiatives and capture business development opportunities such as Server Business Transformation & CSG Competitive Advantage.

  • Perform scenario planning and demonstrate impacts of strategies / decisions on the business to facilitate prioritization and decision making.

  • Develop and effectively communicate expectations and results for the business. Prepare presentation materials and written analyses for senior management and other stakeholders on financial performance

  • Reviews, analyzes and interprets financial information to provide business proactive advice as a partner to business leadership. Participates actively in key management and business decisions, lead, direct senior managers to ensure that the organization’s financial strategies are implemented effectively.

  • Contributes to the strategic planning process to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the business objectives.

  • Responsible for the management of staff including selection, direction setting, feedback and coaching, performance management, rewards and recognition and development planning to support the business

Essential Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experiences in financial controllership, with at least 5 years of experience in successfully managing a team and function

  • Experience from top multinational company with controllership experience IT industry highly desirable

  • Experience related to the procurement function

  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail and proven track record in process improvement

  • Ability to build strong business partnering relationships

  • Ability to influence

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate with ease at different levels of hierarchy
