Dell Senior Manager, Project/Programs in Singapore

Description of Position

We are looking for an individual to help support the Global Sales Strategy & Go to Market Program Management Office (PMO). This individual will help drive cross-functional projects and programs with significant impact within Global Sales to help promote and lead change in key areas of the business. Projects currently under the PMO’s portfolio include a broad range of GTM growth programs and productivity initiatives.

Depending on the project or program, this role will interface with Directors of Sales Strategy, Global Sales Leaders, and functional/BU Leads on their priority initiatives from strategy development to execution. This is a hands-on role, ideal for candidates who are proactive “self-starters” and are looking to build their field sales and functional/BU experience and network. The role requires strong program management skills, including the ability to understand strategy, work cross-functionally, build communication and enablement plans, and interface with senior executives. In this fast-paced environment, the individual must have strong written and oral communication skills, work well in a matrixed organization, pay attention to detail, adapt well to change, and operate with a sense of urgency.

Role will initially have responsibility for managing the following:

  • Global Sales Priorities Support (Global Sales Transformation, Communication, Enablement)

  • Global Sales Promotion & Incentive Development, Operationalization, and Support

  • Alignment and Support of cross-BU initiatives and programs

  • Management, in partnership with HR and the DSS team, of the global Sales Talent Assessment Reporting tool (STAR)

  • Integration of the Tech Refresh and Competitive program materials and selling guides

  • Cross-functional program management of the Product Enablement Centers, working in close partnership with the Channel and BUs

Role

  • Engaging with EMC stakeholders to understand their key issues and priorities

  • Developing recommendations and targeted programs on areas to improve/change

  • Working with the field/DSS team to socialize and implement recommendations

  • Preparing communications (formal memos as well as executive and field-facing presentations) and presenting to senior leaders

  • Measuring outcomes to ensure successful implementation

  • Analyzing market and competitive trends

Qualification/Experience

  • Candidate should have a BA in Business & 5-7 years of related experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in a consulting firm or corporate strategy function

  • Strong leadership skills, capable of managing direct & virtual teams across multiple cultures, geographies, and personality types.

  • Ability to work cross functionally to facilitate processes.

  • Strong communication & PowerPoint skills to engage with senior executives

  • Analytical skills to develop insights into complex business issues

  • High sense of urgency, excellent follow-up, ability to set own agenda & workload

  • Must be able to work in fast paced, dynamic environment, with changing priorities

  • Effective written and verbal communications skills

  • Advanced use of PowerPoint and Excel
