Technical Software Engineering Lead (VxFlex OS, Formerly ScaleIO, Haifa)

We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer to join a team testing the core of highly parallel, and distributed software-based-storage product.

VxFlex OS is looking for a Technical Software Engineering Lead to drive our ground-breaking software-defined storage technology. This is a great opportunity to develop the next generation of the product that have revolutionized the high-tech storage industry as we know it.

In this position you will be part of a growing engineering team that is responsible for building storage functionality from scratch. Activities include design and implementation of highly parallel and distributed enterprise storage features, resolution of challenging technological issues and related research activities. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end product and people growth.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Computer Sciences/Software/Similar from a well-known university- Must

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hands-on software development writing in C/C++ - Must

  • Minimum of 2 years development managerial experience – Must

  • Experience in development/management of multi-threaded and/or distributed systems - a big plus.
