From developing brand new accounts to driving expansion across existing accounts, our Direct Sales team transforms opportunity into action every day. Whether focusing on a geographical area, product line, industry, channel or market segment, their goal is the same: to develop relationships with the end-users of the organization and generate meaningful sales. They are the direct line between our ground-breaking portfolio of product solutions and the desks of satisfied customers. Our sales reps manage multiple clients building leading edge multi-cloud sales propositions using our templates, tools and references to transform their IT infrastructure. Dell Technologies are the market leader across multiple infrastructure segments and looking for passionate, proactive and successful sales leaders to surpass their goals and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of 12+ individual specialist sales reps (SPSS Executives) in Sweden and leads relationships with Swedish executive leadership team and senior sales leaders across multiple sales divisions (direct and indirect channel).

  • Identifies individual account strengths and weaknesses and implement appropriate action plans. Territory and quota planning to optimize sales coverage.

  • Manage SPSS forecasting and deal reviews for country across hundreds of opportunities. Structured approach to reporting status and outlooking sales across multiple lines of business.

  • Designs, and deliver responses to ad-hoc training requirements as requests arise. Organise regular sharing of new technology and sales experiences.

  • Identifies and influence customer key decision makers. Lead by example and coaching reps on improving sales calls and strategy.

  • Qualifies customer needs, profile and develop customer account strategies.

  • Develops and or expand existing accounts within an established geographic territory

  • Designs storage and converged datacentre solutions that meet the required customer needs using outcome based business cases

  • Drives sales team to achieve business results through mentorship, coaching, development, establishing goals and leadership

  • Establish sales through management of specific industry or product segment sales teams

  • Provides direction, development and inspiration to team members

  • Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce. Network of contacts to hire and build talent pipeline.

  • Drive sales strategies and sales promotion campaigns

  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members

Essential Requirements

  • High level understanding of customer/industry climate. Local knowledge of specific customers, partners, competitors, IT infrastructure trends, and proven contact base in Sweden. Proactive learner and drive new thinking across Direct sellers and SPSS team.

  • Storage/Solution Selling background. Strong experience of exec sales forecasting and deal reviews using MEDDIC approach and familiarity with Salesforce/XLS reports. Experience of coaching teams through complex infrastructure solution selling and RFP responses. Attention to detail and memory of status across multiple deals.

  • Moderate to high level of solutions and technical knowledge – specifically Cloud, Converged, and Storage. Articulate value proposition associated with products and solutions. Clear opinions on future of IT Infrastructure in both Private and Public Clouds.

  • 12+ years of relevant and successful sales experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Passionate sales leader and driven to win highly competitive deals. Examples of organizing sales teams and driving sales campaigns to exceed goals.

  • 4+ years managerial/leadership experience managing multi-million dollar goals and reporting and achieving quarterly targets. Scale of managerial experience is key given our position as the market leader. Talent management critical to maximise value of team and inspire passionate approach to sales whilst creating an exciting, innovative and competitive environment.
