What you’ll achieve

The Mechanical Clean Sheet Sr. Analyst role is responsible for supporting the organization in managing and operating mechanical cost models to help achieve best in class cost. Individual should have a solid understanding of the mechanical manufacturing processes which include but not limited to stamping, injection molding, die casting, anodizing, CNC, etc. With guidance, the individual should be able to build, maintain and enhance the cost models and present findings in an easy way to stakeholders and executives.

You will:

  • Develop, maintain and run cost models for metals/plastic parts and assembly with guidance

  • Work cross functionally to socialize cost model output and recommend DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly) and DTC (Design to Cost)

  • Act as an effective team member, exhibit good inter-personal skills

  • Provide timely communications to leadership on significant issues or developments. Prepare material for leadership reviews as required

  • Support negotiations and ensure cost gaps between should cost and supplier quote are closed

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify opportunities to drive improvements

Essential Requirements

  • BS/Diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Proficient in understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes which include and not limited to sheet metal, stamping, injection molding, die casting, anodizing, CNC, etc.

  • Good know-how of raw material market trends

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, MS Project, Excel, Power point)

  • Candidates with experience on shop floor in mechanical factories will be given preference
