Client Solutions Product Technologist

Our Product Technologists play an essential role in creating technologies that drive human progress. Using our in-depth product knowledge, we provide pre-sales technical expertise for the development and implementation of complex products, applications and solutions. We’re relied upon to deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers and provide technical input into bid proposals. We also assess the potential of products to meet customer needs.

What you’ll achieve

As a Product Technologist you will have an influence on building solutions that will best address customer’s needs with regards to efficiency, cost reduction and work experience. You will take care of advanced technology for security and manageability of end points. You will closely cooperate with Clients Solutions Team as well as with Dell Product Group. Upon taking this role you will become a member of a team with a strong sense of team spirit.

You will:

  • Support field sales teams and large customer opportunities.

  • Focus on specific client or enterprise technologies as they relate to Dell solution offerings.

  • Assist in selling activities and positioning of assigned technologies.

  • Deliver technical presentations to sales teams with the purpose of increasing the knowledge base to drive greater demand.

Essential Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required

  • 8+ years of relevant business experience in the IT industry (Sales, Sales Operations or Product Engineering) – sales experience highly valued

  • Strong knowledge of the Client Solutions portfolio including security and manageability area
