It’s hard to put a price on driving human progress, but when you’re operating in a competitive business environment, you need innovative pricing strategies. Our Pricing team within Sales Operations is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating these strategies. We conduct research and competitive pricing analysis and monitor the ongoing business environment to ensure Dell maintains a competitive market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibilities will be driving best in class pricing support for the region/countries assigned, including pricing guidance & deal structure support and timely pricing reviews.

  • Track and maintain high services levels on pricing review/support requests.

  • Partnering with Sales & Finance/Operation management to provide pricing guidance on structuring critical deals including transformational license agreements, Including creating of complex deal P&L’s.

  • Participate in regular pricing reviews and with local region executives.

  • Track and analyze market/customer trends and competitive pricing moves, and recommend appropriate course of actions to pricing management.

  • Identify trends and opportunities to support the evolution of pricing practice, to deliver excellence in pricing support.

  • Other duties including but not contained to: sales training, account profitability reviews, win/loss tracking, training and development across the team.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent financial and business acumen and the ability to build complex financial models.

  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills as well as strong leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels in the organization and across multiple functional teams.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues and negotiate consensus effectively

  • Flexibility, with the ability to multi –task and work in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

  • Resourceful & proactive approach to work.

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous IT industry, Deal Desk, Finance, or pricing experience, the ideal candidate will have a B.S. and/or a graduate degree in Business, Finance/Accounting or Mathematics, and will have Pricing, Benchmarking, or Competitive Intelligence experience.
