Director of Production Operations

Dell Technologies is ground-breaking at every level: in our design rooms, sales teams, marketing and in our factories. As the primary logistics contact internally, Production Operations steers the daily workflow activities within the factory, managing operations processes and people to achieve a quality output. Focused on achieving the required level of production on an hour-to-hour, daily, monthly and yearly basis, we oversee the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations. To do this, we work with a range of internal teams, including Operations, Logistics, Distribution and IT.

What you’ll achieve

As a Director of Operations, you will be responsible for leading the Manufacturing Operations Team in the Dell Lodz Site, providing leadership to the operations team. You will also join the Global Leadership to drive the performance and strategy, exchange best practices to build stable, motivated team and guarantee customer satisfaction for division of Client & Server solutions within Global Supply Chain.

You will:

  • Review operational and business requirements, and make decisions to satisfy business needs; Cooperate and Interact to make recommendations cross-functionally with the executive team

  • Be responsible for driving the high standards, strategic initiatives for manufacturing locally & globally

  • Drive successful implementation of new programs and processes for manufacturing customer focused according to company strategy,

  • Drive development of inspiring OP’s Leadership focused on competency (What & How) according to key habits of character: courage, humility, selflessness, duty, integrity, positivity, be accountable for development of human capital focused on motivation, commitment, innovation, inclusion

  • Drive Company Strategy with growth of the inclusive culture and talent diversity (BE THE CHANGE)

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a large organization responsible for other senior level managers

  • Expert understanding of production and/or materials operations and/or manufacturing engineering

  • Clearly understands short and long-term business goals and objectives, and able to align group direction with those objectives

  • Typically, 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, work experience

  • Typically, requires 7+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of planning and forecasting techniques and advanced understanding and ability to develop and drive budgeting process

  • Supply-chain or Technical Background with a degree level Qualification in same.
