Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.
The development of value propositions, core content, marketing and go-to-market strategies for the Federal Government
Drive digital campaigns that address the differing needs of both technical and non-technical Federal users and buyers
Craft and develop compelling messaging and tools focused on customers for use on the web, at live events and in customer facing programs
Work closely the Federal sales team to distill key functionality and benefits into core marketing messages that resonate with the federal audience
Define the go-to-market approach to develop awareness programs and lead generation campaigns, spanning digital, PR and in-person campaigns
Identify and execute breakthrough marketing activities that reach target audiences including Federal and Channel partners
Deliver clear, concise content for websites and social media
Work closely with the North American marketing team, technical teams, events, BD, PR, recruiting and evangelists to achieve business goals
7 + years of relevant work experience in marketing, marketing communications and/or digital/high-technology companies/products to Federal IT customers
BA/BS in marketing or equivalent education/experience
Created positioning and marketing content for Public Sector, with a focus on Federal government
5 years Digital marketing experience
Success in tying to marketing metrics to marketing campaigns and activities
Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology product success
