Senior Principal Engineering Technologist, Azure Stack Portfolio

Location - Remote, US West Coast

We’re involved in assessing the competition, developing technology and product strategies, and generating intellectual property. We lead technology investigations, analyze industry capabilities and recommend potential vendor partner opportunities. What you’ll achieve

As an Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for serving every aspect of the Azure Stack business, our partners, and our customers. You will be the highest level SME on our Azure Stack Portfolio outside of Engineering. You will help win new, unique, different strategic deals. You will assist Engineering, User Experience, Product Management, and Technical Marketing to ensure our field, partners, and customers have everything they need to be successful with our Microsoft Hybrid Cloud portfolio. You will be an engineering evangelist, always the biggest champion and cheerleader for our products, helping our partners, customers, internal teams, and the wider community understand and get the most out of our products, while simultaneously helping craft the future vision for them.

You will:

  • Develop and maintain best practices for our Azure Stack portfolio

  • Evangelize our products through blogs, videos, and other community activities

  • Help to rescue troubled customer projects

  • Convert large, strategic global opportunities into technical wins

  • Review and improve documentation

  • Work cross-functionally with multiple business units to solve problems systematically for our customers and partners

Essential Requirements

  • Expert at sizing, configuring, implementing, upgrading, and operating HCI solutions, preferably with Azure Stack HCI and/or Hub experience

  • Proven success building relationships with Fortune 100 global customers across multiple countries

  • Excellent written, video, and audio communications

  • Expertise to learn new versions and technologies as they are released and teach them to others

  • Deep knowledge of the Microsoft cloud ecosystem

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology or a related field

Desirable Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Technology, Business, Communications, or a related field
