Due to the strategic importance of the New Zealand market to our business, this high-profile leadership role on our Australian and New Zealand Senior Leadership team, will lead the development and execution of Dell Technologies overall strategy and go-to-market for New Zealand

What you’ll achieve
As the New Zealand General Manager / Sales Director, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer, industry, government, and partner relationships at strategic levels while owning the sales management of all aspects of the business.
Work with senior executives across industry to understand their strategic initiatives and priorities
Understand the New Zealand market, including competitive landscape and overall market dynamics, and use that knowledge to plan strategic investment and growth
Lead the ongoing development and execution of the strategic direction of the New Zealand sales organization; drive strategic business planning, account management and pipeline development
Create, implement, and execute a Dell Technologies strategy for the New Zealand market in line with local, regional, and global priorities
Work with the broader partner community to deliver the best outcomes
Directly oversee the sales teams in New Zealand
Provide direction, development, and inspiration to the team members across the NZ organization
Collaborate with the broader global Dell Technologies teams
Be an active member of the Australian and New Zealand senior leadership team
Actively participate and contribute to Dell Technologies ‘Progress Made Real’ 2030 vision
Have General Management responsibility including statutory obligations and site leadership

15 to 18 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years of management / Leadership experience
High level of solutions and technical knowledge
Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills
Capacity to influence and engage other internal teams and stakeholders
Engagement at highest level within customers, industry, government & partners in NZ
Strong customer focus and background in working with external partners
Experience in complex strategic accounts and customer negotiations
- Bachelor's degree
