Product Document Management is key to deploying and managing product data for Dell products’ initial release and any engineering changes that follow. The team is also crucial to managing products and peripheral components though product release and the associated change activities post release. Put simply, they help to keep our game-changing products at their ground-breaking best. Along the way, the team works directly with diverse functions to help guide project management in the definition, design, building and shipping of systems configuration requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage team performance through appropriate training, evaluation, and continuous skillset improvement.

  • You will review incoming business requests and plan and prioritize workload across your team to meet required Service Level Agreements.

  • You must ensure request quality and audit checks are complete to 100% accuracy.

  • Interface directly with business partners to support expedited requests/escalations to meet business requirements.

  • Be a leader in identifying and implementing process improvements with business partners.

  • Delivery key data and metric content to business partners to measure and improve processes.

  • Collaborate with other regional Global Offer and Product Operations analyst teams across locations and time zones when transfer of work is required to meet business needs.

  • Complete global project deployments by means of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business requirement generation and interfacing with IT teams.

Essential Requirements:

  • Able to motivate and lead teams effectively while prioritizing to meet the needs of business partners.

  • Efficient and accurate in handling and manipulating data.

  • Motivated, energetic and goal driven; deliver to deadlines.

  • Flexible, adaptable and an active team player.

  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, comfortable communicating to senior management.

  • Understanding of product configuration/validation principles is an advantage.

  • Ability to assimilate high volumes of technical information and draw inferences.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a business, IT, or Engineering discipline and 5+ year’s relevant experience.

  • Experience managing in a team environment.

  • PMP or equivalent project management methodology certification would be an advantage.
