Dell Senior Advisor, Accounting in Xiamen, China

  • Responsibilities:

  • Statutory accounting: Independently handle statutory filing / support tax filing as per required timeline;Well manage Greater China legal entities statutory annual audit with internal/external partners in a smooth process and drive for unqualified opinion;Strong sense of transfer pricing mechanism and able to provide deep analysis on the deviation with cross function team;

  • Accounting and controllership:

a. Execute the fundamentals - balance sheet reconciliations reviews, journey entry documentation reviews, compliance of accounting policies/regulations

b. be proactive in understanding the end to end process behind the accounts by deep diving into transactions, have solid understanding of how the balances build / relieve, able to connect the dots and flag out potential issues or improvement opportunities and offer solutions.

c. Drive a no surprise approach

  • Accounting effectiveness & efficiencies

a. Strong business partnership with effective communication and involvement in region or cross region, within or cross functions, to drive best practice;

b. Create scalable solutions that reduce manual work and simplify processes while focusing on globalizing processes.

  • Projects

Champion the development of sustainable and scalable accounting and business processes to support new business initiatives, strategic projects, new legal entity set up and/or new Merge & Acquisition

  • Other task assigned by manager


  • Degree in Finance Accounting or professional qualification in Accounting

  • Working experience of 8 years+, preferably in a MNC or Big 4 Audit firms’ statutory/audit experience

  • Holding the certificate of ACCA, AU CPA, CN CPA etc. is preferred

  • Self-starter with a high level of diligence and the ability to work own initiative and in conjunction with other key processes leaders.

  • Result oriented with a strong desire to see tasks through completion

  • Demonstrated business and finance acumen, be able to articulate how business impact accounting entries and ultimately financial results.

  • Have strong understanding of internal controls and analytical skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good knowledge in MS Excel, Words, Access and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Oracle/SAP Financial Modules would be an advantage
