Trade Compliance Auditor

Global import-export in the world of ground-breaking technology is a complicated business. It takes real attention to detail to comply with all U.S. and regional import and export regulations. Our Import-Export team within Materials and Procurement provides trade compliance support for end-to-end order management and delivery processes. We’re experts in what we do, from assessing global trade risk and providing mitigation strategies, to delivering strategic and tactical support in developing international supply chains, to implementing strategies to reduce import expenses and auditing all documentation.

What you’ll achieve

As a Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for support all audit activity, managing action items to completion within defined timeline and working with cross-functional stakeholders as need. You will work also identifying gaps in current controls scope and process, providing recommendations and training opportunities implementing controls to drive process improvements to mitigate trade compliance risk.

You will:

  • Perform Controlled Self-Assessment (CSA) testing, assess quality of controls and improve as needed, perform audits according to annual plan

  • Collaborate with and support Trade Compliance Counsel in various trade legal matters, including conducting internal investigations and perform trade-owned work as required

  • Work with Trade Leadership team on quarterly operational scorecard, Global Operations risk assessment and heat map progression on key issues

  • Execute Business Continuity Planning for Trade Compliance in partnership with the Global Operations BCP PMO

  • Assist the Document Control lead responsible for coordinating the review and update of global policies and procedures with regional leads (annually or as needed). Test adherence to policies and procedures regarding document control practices to ensure they are properly reviewed, approved, disseminated and stored.

Essential Requirements

  • Trade compliance background, 5 years’ experience in a similar role and scale

  • Knowledge of audit and controls, preferable in the trade compliance field (not finance)

  • Fluent English

Desirable Requirements

  • Global Trade management tool and corporate ERP system knowledge preferred

  • Higher degree
