Key responsibilities:

  • Manages a group of accounts in conjunction with the Outside Sales Specialist to ensure opportunities are identified and closed

  • Attains unit and revenue expectations for the BU

  • Works with customers to move an opportunity through the funnel to successful closure

  • Demonstrates sound financial acumen to price bids to win while putting in place margin recovery plans by selling more LOB’s and balancing bid and run rate mix

  • Maintains a balance of account portfolio between acquisition, development and retention accounts to ensure consistent business growth

  • Collaborates with the Core Dell teams to improve overall Dell share of wallet in account across BU’s

  • Proactively identifies and solves business problems faced by customer by providing subject matter expertise Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and close new (large) accounts and opportunities,

  • Extensive experience in outbound calling,

  • Having strong self-motivation skills, someone who isn’t waiting for instructions,

  • Experience selling Thin Clients and or VDI Software,

  • A good understanding of Salesforce.com required,

  • Extensive experience in outbound calling; qualify opportunities, whilst being able to articulate oneself effectively,

  • Very good (native) German, French & English language skills

  • Desirable Requirements

  • Exposure and understanding of Desktop Virtualization

  • Experience selling Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) similar to VxRail, VSAN, XC Appliances available from Dell Technologies

  • Educated to degree level
